今天很意外地在sogou上搜到了Nick Cave的《As I sat sadly by her side》，这是我曾经在baidu中找了很长时间的歌，终究没找到，放弃了。看来，时不时变换一下搜索引擎也是有必要的。
这首歌的MV拍得很迷人，尤其是开场时，黑暗中，一盏吊灯来回晃着，Nick的一张脸就在黑暗中随着灯摆明明灭灭，沉郁、哀伤。冰凉的钢琴声音如丝线一样贯穿整首歌曲始终，为Nick的且歌且舞来伴奏。这是一首让我一下就迷上的歌，至今仍然深深被吸引。
As I Sat Sadly By Her Side，通过叙事者与一个女孩在窗边的对话，谈论关于自我拯救的无意义，她说“爸爸妈妈，哥哥姐姐，叔叔阿姨，侄儿侄女，士兵水手，医生工人……地球月亮，星星太阳，他们都开始了永恒的坠落，美丽而悠远。……上帝并不在意你对他造物的评价，也不在意你的仁慈和善良，你的悲伤如此丑陋而无用。”
