十五年前马叔已经演过一次律师。同理心和父爱是根由，延伸出去却避不开种族歧视。正如马叔的结辩陈词说的，请用心而非用脑。Imagine she’s white 才是最后的杀手锏。陪审团制度说到底是在心理天平上加减砝码，结果不一定就是真相还原的公平正义。PS:相助里的奥斯卡女配斯宾瑟在里面演了个女护士。
其实感觉只值三星，但是考虑到题材~以及阵容+1星
而且很恐怖的是96年的密西西比还会有大批的3K党公然活动~
（对白中有一句说那位大夫在1985年做证，再+接下来的11年，片子居然设置在96年啊~）

不知道是不是因为看过一些律政电视剧的缘故，比较起来，有关于法庭的电影，简直弱爆了。电影和电视不一样，需要大量情感烘托，所以真心不适合律政题材。第三颗星是给Matthew McConaughey的，他是个足够好的演员。
强大的卡司，本可拍摄的更精彩的案情，以及狗血的结案陈词，但却再没有什么更令人称道的地方了，全片一大半部分几乎都是在围绕在凶手弟弟怎么威胁男主身上了，还扯上了什么3K党，扯了两个多小时却什么深刻的内容也没反应出来，2.5star
