Wedge 一词比较好记，就是在熟词 edge （边缘、刀口）前面加个 w ，原本作名词表示“楔子、三角木”（如下图）。
楔子是一种简单机械工具，由两个斜面组成，用来将物件分开，常由木头、金属、橡胶等制作而来。比如：
- 那个著名建筑师用锤子把楔子砸入石缝里。
