《江畔独步寻花七绝句》是唐代大诗人杜甫的组诗作品,共七首。第一首写独步寻花的原因从恼花写起;第二首写行至江滨见繁花之多;第三首写某些人家的花,红白耀眼,应接不暇;第四首则写遥望少城之花,想象其花之盛与人之乐;第五首写黄师塔前之桃花;第六首写黄四娘家尽是花;第七首总结赏花、爱花、惜花。组诗前四首分别描写恼花、怕春、报春、怜花而流露出悲愁的情怀;后三首显示出赏花时的喜悦之情,蕴含春光难留之意。全诗脉络清楚,层次井然,是一幅独步寻花图,表现了杜甫对花的惜爱、在美好生活中的留连和对美好事物常在的希望。

江畔独步寻花
(七首其六)

黄四娘[1]家花满蹊[2],

千朵万朵压枝低。

留连戏蝶时时舞,

自在娇莺恰恰啼。

公元760年杜甫新建草堂,春暖花开的时候,独自沿着江畔散步,写了七首绝句,这里选的是第六首。开头一句点明寻花的地点,是到黄四娘家去的路上;人名入诗,有点民歌的味道。“花满蹊”后,再说“千朵万朵”,更具体化;说“压枝低”,更形象化。蝶舞莺歌则写花的芬芳鲜艳。“留连”既是蝶恋花,也是人恋花和蝶;“自在”也既指莺,又可指人。“恰恰啼”有两说:一说是莺啼声,一说唐人口语“恰恰”是正好的意思。最后两句对仗工稳,因难见巧,和《漫兴》相同,可见杜甫诗艺。

Thousands of them in full blossom weigh branches down.

Butterflies linger, now and then they dance along;

The seven poems of the poet Du Fu of the Tang dynasty are a collection of seven poems. The first poem is about the reason of searching for flowers alone, starting from the annoyance of flowers; the second poem is about the number of flowers when walking to the riverside; the third poem is about the flowers in some houses, which are red and white and overwhelming; the fourth poem is about looking at the flowers in Shaocheng and imagining the flowers and people’s happiness; the fifth poem is about the peach blossoms in front of Huang Shi Tower; the sixth poem is about the flowers in Huang Siniang’s house; the seventh poem summarizes the appreciation, love and cherishing of flowers. The first four poems of the group are about annoying flowers, fearing spring, reporting spring, and pitying flowers, which reveal sad feelings; the last three poems show the joy of enjoying flowers and imply that it is hard to keep spring light. The whole poem is a clear and well-structured picture of a solitary walk in search of flowers, expressing Du Fu’s love for flowers, his lingering in a beautiful life and his hope that good things will always be there.
