永王东巡歌
（十一首其二）
三川[1]北虏[2]乱如麻，
四海南奔似永嘉。
但用东山[3]谢安石，
为君谈笑静胡沙。
《永王东巡歌》作于公元757年，李白随永王李璘水师东下浔阳之时，现存11首。洛阳沦陷后一片混乱，士人争相躲避江东。诗人以谢安自居，自谓在国家大难当头时，希望像谢安一样从容镇静地破敌除患，希望永王重用自己。诗人在诗中表现的是爱国志士的热诚，对遭受战火的百姓的同情。虽然，他想做谢安那样的儒将，从容应敌，决胜千里，是不现实的，甚至是幼稚的，却成就了他豪迈的浪漫主义风格。

[1]三川：指河、洛、伊三川，于今河南省洛阳市。
[2]北虏：指安禄山叛军。
[3]东山：谢安隐居处。
Song of Eastern Expedition of Prince Yong
(II)
Three River Valleys overrun by Northern foes,
People within four seas flee to the Southern land.
If Master Xie[1]again from Eastern Mountain rose,
He’d quell with ease the rebels as he’d sprinkle sand.
