为寂寞的夜空画上一个月亮

还有橡皮能擦去的争执
画上四季都不愁的粮食
悠闲的人从没心事

我没有擦去争吵的橡皮
只有一支画着孤独的笔
那夜空的月也不再亮
只有个忧郁的孩子在唱
为寂寞的夜空画上一个月亮

Paint on a moon for the lonely night sky. Sing the song I paint under that moon. Paint on a big window for the cold, clean room. Then paint on a bed. Then a girl to keep me company. Next paint a lace sleeping pad. Then paint a stove and firewood. We’ll have a life together.

Paint a flock of birds around me. Then paint a green cliff and verdant slope. Paint on some peace and quiet. A little rain floats down to the paddy. Then paint on a rainbow you can touch. Add a star I won’t let go away.
Then paint on a winding, bumpy road. The kind people take in dreams.
Then paint on mom’s serene face. And the dispute an eraser can wipe away. Then paint on enough rice for a year. People relaxing won’t have a care.

I don’t have an eraser to wipe away the argument. Just got a brush that paints loneliness. That moon in the night sky won’t be shining anymore. Only a gloomy child singing.

Paint a window for the deserted house
And paint a bed
Paint a girl sitting beside me
And paint a laced blanket
Paint a stove with some firewood
Let us live and prosper together

Paint the peace and tranquillity
While raindrops float across the fields
Paint a rainbow so real you can touch it
Paint some stars that shine forever
Paint an endless winding path
Leading up to a dreamy little cottage

Paint a mother’s serene posture
Paint those arguments easily forgotten
Paint crops that can last the whole year
A laid-back life with no worries

I have no magic eraser for our fights
Just a brush to paint my loneliness
The moon no longer shines in the night sky
Leaving only a poor little boy to sing

I paint a moon for the lonely night sky,
and draw myself singing under the moonlight.
I paint a big window for a desolate house,
and then I add a bed.
I paint a girl for to keep me company,
and then a quilt bordered with flowers.
I paint a stove and some firewood,
Born together, let’s live well together.

I paint a flock of birds surrounding me,
and then I add green ridges and hills.
I add strokes of serenity and peace;
Rain droplets floating on paddy fields.
I paint a rainbow you can touch with your hands,
and in the painting, a starry sky that I decide will never dim.
I paint endless flat little winding roads
that lead to where people have entered their dreams.

I paint Mother’s tranquil posture,
and an *eraser that can remove conflict.
I paint food that can last the four seasons;
The carefree don’t ever have worries.

But I don’t have an eraser that removes strife,
only a brush that paints loneliness.
And the moon in the night sky shines no longer;
There’s only a boy singing in melancholy.
